Design & Construction STEM Activities

If your school is looking to run STEM  activities then this Design and Construction program will fit well into your day. The sessions focus on our large construction kits that are made up from  a collection of tubes, panels,  bolts and a range of connectors. Students will be asked to fulfill a series of tasks ranging from the very simple to increasingly complex budgeted challenges.

The sessions are a great way to get your students considering design constraints whilst planning and then building their construction projects. Combine this with budget restrictions and the students will be applying real life skills on their projects.

Combining the above with fun themes and secondary tasks make for a challenge day with a difference.

Which Age are the Design and Construction sessions targeted at?

The Design and Construction sessions  are suitable for Upper KS2 (Years 5 & 6) through to KS3 and KS4 at Secondary School.
